Jesus didn’t come to Earth to be served, but to serve others.  He spent His time washing feet and hanging out with sinners.  Jesus was the ultimate example of serving.  In our culture of busyness, we make excuses for not serving others…we don’t have time, money, or the energy to give. This is a challenge, but one that we should not push aside.  Serving can be the most life-giving thing you ever do.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:43–45).
“He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just” (Luke14:12–14 ).

The resources assembled here are designed to offer a variety of perspectives on serving Jesus Christ and those around you. We hope you will find the resources inspiring and encouraging as you explore ways to serve in Christ’s kingdom.
