He is our shepherd, there is nothing we need but Him. He is our daily portion– He is enough. Hold fast to this knowing that He is with you always. He sets the path before us and is with us each step of the way. There is nothing we shall fear as we are clinging to Him.
What our eyes are fixed on is what will lead the way forth.
What our heart is set on determines the path of the trail.
What our mind focuses on is what we will pursue.
Perhaps the weariness is heavy today, or your eyes, heart, and mind are clinging to something other than Him. Maybe you feel restless, the valley feels vast, or the wilderness is never-ending, or you are not sure where your help comes from.
He is our shepherd who is leading us beside still waters. He gives us perspective in the valley, that can only come from Him. He sets the land before us. He fights for us. He carries us. He shows us the way. He dwells with us.
Let’s never stop reminding one another to see His goodness, no matter what the terrain holds. My prayer is that this mug will do just that.
